Ballinasloe Credit Union is thrilled to invite local sports clubs to participate in our latest community initiative, the Community Champions Campaign.

Speaking at the launch Grainne Murphy, CEO of Ballinasloe Credit Union, expressed our commitment to the community and the pivotal role sports clubs play within it. She stated, “At Ballinasloe Credit Union, we recognize the vital contributions of local sports clubs, and we have a rich history of supporting both our members and these clubs through our Social Development Fund. Each year, a significant portion of our marketing budget is dedicated to bolstering local groups and events. The Community Champions Campaign is yet another way for us to give back.”

The Community Champions Campaign has been thoughtfully designed to ensure accessibility. Here’s how it works: when a Ballinasloe Credit Union member seeks to obtain a personal loan or open a current account and chooses our services, they have the unique opportunity to contribute to a local sports club of their preference during their application process.

Upon successful loan drawdown and three months of loan repayments, Ballinasloe Credit Union will donate to the selected sports club. For members who open a current account with us, we will donate their 3rd Quarter fees to the club the selected sports club.

This initiative empowers our members to play a direct role in fostering the growth and success of their chosen sports club, simply by making Ballinasloe Credit Union their financial partner.

We are now extending a warm invitation to all sports clubs to sign up for the Community Champions Campaign, which will officially commence on November 1st, 2023.
