Your new membership number has been sent by post to the address that we have for you.

Once you receive your membership number you will be able to register for online banking via the mobile app or website. Set out below are the steps you need to take to set up your online banking and mobile app access.

Using your new membership number which has been sent to you by post, you can register for online access via our website www.ballinasloecreditunion.ie

Click on the “Register Online” tab located on the top right-hand side of the website page.

You will be instructed to create a username and password along with confirming your name, your new account number & your email address.

To register for online banking using the Ballinasloe Credit Union Mobile app you can scan the QR code below or go to the app store on your mobile device, download Ballinasloe Credit Union App and follow the instructions on screen.

Our member services will be on hand to help.

Your loans (if applicable) and savings balances have been securely transferred to Ballinasloe Credit Union Ltd. Existing loan agreements remain unchanged and repayments will continue as normal. Your savings remain safe, protected, and accessible as before.

Ballinasloe Credit Union also offers optional additional services such as current accounts, debit cards, mortgages and term deposit savings products. Should you choose to apply for any new services, your data may be processed for new purposes based on contract, legal obligation, or consent.

In the coming months, Ballinasloe Credit Union and Gort Credit Union will unite under our future name: Gateway Credit Union Ltd. We will write to you about this process in due course. In the interim, our commitment remains the same: to provide trusted, community-focused financial services — now with even greater strength, support, and opportunity.
